  • Decommissioned 7 Jul 1919

My grandmother, Dora Lee King, had a brother whom was washed overboard in 1918 as Chief Quartermaster on the USS Whipple; Roscoe Ottis Lee, Topeka, Kansas. Roscoe was born in 1890 and was 18 years old coming back from France after WWI. Toni Nelson Beck, Topeka, Kansas
